After earning her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Oregon, Jocelyn found her niche in tax accounting, drawn to the way it blends law, personal finance, and problem solving. She began her career in a real estate tax credit firm where she gained experience in both audit and tax work. Her passion for taxation deepened during her time at a global tax firm, where she worked on complex multinational accounts. Jocelyn was drawn to Cobalt because it offered the opportunity to specialize in real estate taxation while working closely with her Portland community on a team that values personal connection and high-value service.
When she’s not at the office, Jocelyn is out exploring Portland’s neighborhoods by foot or bike, usually stopping to sample local craft coffee or beer along the way. She’s also a pianist who enjoys reading sheet music and can often be found at a karaoke night belting out her favorite songs.
